| COMPATIBILITY NOTES If being used as a plain File & Print Server, then Novell 3.xx is compatible with all the usual desktop versions of Windows, with both the Microsoft and certain Novell Client software. MS-DOS applications can usually be made to work fine under any version of Windows. Note: some application software using certain types of advanced features, such as file-sharing, file-locking, client-server features, may not be compatible. | ||
| PRINTING Novell 3.xx works fine with many printers, but not all of them. | ||
| UNINTERUPTIBLE POWER SUPPLIES & UPSs Suitable UPSs are still available for Novell 3.xx Servers. | ||
| TYPICAL PROBLEMS If your Novell Server becomes unreliable when new PCs are added to your network, it is often because the Server hardware cannot keep up with the speed of new PCs. Simply upgrade your Server and the problems usually disappear. | ||
| NON-NOVELL SERVERS We can often recommend and supply suitable non-Novell Servers to replace your old Novell Servers. | ||
